Like I wrote in my last post, for those who didn’t get the chance to go see the exhibit, here ya go! A little bit about Keith Haring, an amazing innovative artist who shared with us his beautiful political inspired graffiti through his vision, personality, and passion. Everyone has seen his canvas around the world. From subway stations, walls throughout the street, to night clubs and even museums. His murals has left a mark through us all. With his bold colors and bright lines, Keith’s art blew up. He was best known most for his social activist in AIDS awareness. Being one of the strongest to deal with and standing up, Keith’s sexuality was a major theme to his art. I had the pleasure to go see his tour while it was in the city. I was inspired by everything. Not just saying, being a gay person and liking another gay males art, but how every mural he drew was a story and message behind it. There were arts from his early years beginning, to his intricate murals growing up. His art was quirky and strong, something different that was pretty recognizable. It was an amazing experience I would never forget.
